I have been a Trainer since 2003 and have enjoyed my experience to date.I have been involved in teaching Medical Students in the past and am currently involved in Nurse Practitioner training. I enjoy General Practice and try to balance home and work in a sensible way .

The Practice
|
| Homewell Practice has been a training practice for 25 years working from a modern health centre with radiology, dentistry and consultant clinics on the premises. The whole practice team is committed to teaching and training.
Partners special interests include gynaecology, orthopaedics, respiratory medicine and one Partner works for the PCT.
There is a full primary care team including treatment room and community nurses on site . Other attached staff work nearby.
We have a strong management team led by Kate Mangnall to whom requests for further information should be addressed.
We have 12,700 patients living within a fairly compact practice area where there are no problems with traffic congestion or parking.
You will gain experience with the Microtest computer system, the practice being almost paperless.
Out of hours the practice is covered by Portsmouth Out of Hours Service
Havant is situated in a pleasant part of the country, on the coast between Chichester and Portsmouth and is 1hr 20mins by train from London

Training at the Practice

Homewell Practice has been a training practice for well over 35 years with several previous trainers. All of the team are involved in training and two previous registrars are now Partners.
