Claire Cox has been a trainer since 1993, and has been a Programme Director for the VTS day release course on Wednesdays since 2000. Claire was appointed Appraisal Lead for Hampshire in 2009. |

The Practice
|
| The Swan Surgery in Petersfield is an 8 partner practice. It is situated in a delightful market town, with easy access to Portsmouth, London and the coast. The surgery has a long history of involvement in GP Registrar, medical student and nursing education. The practice is situated next to Petersfield Community Hospital, where we are able to look after our patients in GP beds and in the minor injuries department. |
Training at the Practice

| The Swan Surgery provides a stimulating and rewarding experience for Registrars. The ethos of the practice is to ensure the Registrar's education is appropriate to their learning needs, and protected time for learning is guaranteed. All partners and attached staff are fully committed to education, and regular educational meetings occur in the practice. Access to Petersfield Community Hospital, and a well developed nursing triage service enrich the learning experience for the Registrar. |
